There is much to see around Hovra Vandrarhem, especially if you take the time to go by foot. During winter, when the snow is deep, moving around can be very hard. But with a pair of snowshoes it becomes a very pleasant and rewarding experience.
Because we think having fun outside is a family matter, we also have snowshoes for the smallest family members (roughly 4 years and up, depending on shoe size). Ofcourse you will receive a detailed explanation on how to use the snowshoes, as well as some suggestions where to spend your time hiking.
